5 review(s) for "NVIDIA Quadro RTX A4000 Graphics Card"

Yes. Despite its slim single-slot design, the A4000 has a 140W TDP and requires one 6-pin PCIe power connector from your power supply.

While it is optimized for professional software (CAD, 3D Rendering, AI), the RTX A4000 is highly capable for gaming, performing similarly to a GeForce RTX 3070. It supports Ray Tracing and DLSS, though its drivers are tailored for stability in creative applications rather than day-one game patches.

Higher VRAM allows you to load larger 3D textures, work with massive CAD assemblies (like entire buildings or engine blocks), and handle complex video color grading in 4K or 8K without the "Out of Memory" errors common on consumer cards.

The RTX A4000 is a "Full Height" card, so it will not fit in slim SFF cases that require "Low Profile" brackets. However, because it only takes up a single slot width, it is excellent for workstation builds where you need to install multiple PCIe cards (like capture cards or high-speed networking).

No, the RTX A4000 does not support NVLink bridge connections. For multi-GPU scaling via NVLink, you would need to step up to the RTX A5000 or A6000 models.

You can drive up to four 5K displays at 60Hz, or two 8K displays at 60Hz, using the four DisplayPort 1.4a outputs on the back of the card.
